A 4-hour version of this course was brought to ANOA this year and filled OVER capacity. Where he only touched the surface on the subject matter, don’t miss out on this 4-day training event!! Detective Sergeant Victor Galarza is a subject matter expert. You will get a chance to see over 1,500 items related to the Mexican Cartel Culture.

During this one-of-kind internationally recognized course, we will focus on current trends of drug trafficking used by these organizations, with additional subjects including but not limited to: Anti-Bias Policing, Community Policing, Officer Safety, Marijuana issues, Reclassification of the Cartels into Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and the 6 Mexican FTOs in detail, the “Plaza” system, the “King Pin Approach”, El Culiacanazo 1.0 and 2.0”, Civil War in Culiacan, the current Fentanyl crisis, growth of Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generation (CJNG), the splintering of the Sinaloa Organization, the Nueva Familia Michuacana involvement with fentanyl production, China and the Cartels, US/Mexico Diplomatic Environment, various geographical areas of interest, case law US vs. Medina Copete 10th US Appellate Court District of New Mexico, info on the 13 major Transnational Criminal Organizations, case studies of federal and state investigations, the influence of narco-culture on society and social media, and much more.

To educate, within the State of Arizona, as to the dangers of drug and narcotic abuse. To establish training for law enforcement officers in the area of narcotic and drug enforcement. Promote and foster mutual cooperation between narcotic officers, their agencies, private industry and the public. Provide information to the public and private industry in regards to the abuse of narcotic and other drugs.

Annual Membership Includes:

Accidental Death Insurance Policy. The policy is for $7,500 for each member and if you die in the line of duty, your beneficiary will receive $10,000. No applications to fill out. The policy is included in the membership dues and the only requirement is current membership in the association.
