ANOA is honored to partner with the Michael Garbo Foundation to present the

“Michael Garbo Excellence Award”

Nominees for this award will be selected from all award winners each year. The person who best represents the life and legacy of Michael Garbo and his commitment to protecting the community from the crime and dangers of drugs will be awarded.

Michael was a big part of ANOA and was a highly sought-after instructor. He was a long-time member and frequent instructor of the ANOA.

Michael tragically lost his life on October 4, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona, protecting his community.
